Wes Gray was born and raised in Cobb County — Mableton, specifically — and he likes to point out that the area was culturally diverse long before that became a thing people talked about. Wes came to roofing the way a lot of good ones do: sideways. Covid furloughed him out of the restaurant industry and into a new career that turned out to fit better than the old one. Years behind the bar and in restaurant management taught him how to multitask, prioritize, and stay locked in when the night gets noisy — all skills that translate uncannily well to storm damage work and adjuster calls.

These days, Wes specializes in storm damage and working with insurance adjusters at Peachtree Roofing & Exteriors, and he is quietly one of the team's best at shingle ID. His band director from school — the closest thing he had to a father figure — taught him to treat everyone equally and to be kind, and Wes has built his client approach around exactly that. He wants homeowners to know the team is thorough and genuinely wants to do the best job for them, full stop. He is also a Level 2 Cicerone of three years, which is to say he can talk you through a roof and a beer with equal authority.

At home, it is a full house: his daughter Marley, his girlfriend Christa, their three pups Sunny, Isha, and Samson, plus outdoor cats Marvin and Tommy. Wes spends his off hours playing poker, pool, and golf, blowing the dust off his trumpet, and shooting guns. He went to school for music education before dropping out and marched drum corps along the way. The dream: a vacation in Ireland and, eventually, opening his own brew pub.
