A Brooklyn kid who grew up on the diversity and culture of New York City, Shuwayne Agard now brings more than a decade of roofing, insurance, and sales experience to the Peachtree Roofing & Exteriors team. He graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Business Economics and spent years working for a major insurance company before pivoting to the other side of the table — the homeowner's side. That insider view is what made the difference for him. He saw too many homeowners struggling to understand their own coverage, lost in a claims process that did not seem designed for them, and decided to make a career out of being their advocate, helping them educate themselves, protect their interests, and get treated fairly.

Today, Shuwayne specializes in roofing, insurance, and claims, and his proudest professional moment was passing the Public Adjuster Licensing Exam — a credential that gives him real teeth when he is representing a homeowner in front of a carrier. His professional superpower is being able to build rapport quickly, the kind of fast-forming trust that lets a stressed-out homeowner take a breath and let him drive the process. The mentor's advice he keeps in his back pocket: always strive to provide the highest quality product or service, every time. His promise to clients is that every project gets the same diligence, professionalism, and pride.

Home is his wife, their little boy and little girl, and a poodle who keeps everyone in line. Outside of work, he is out at the park or hiking with his family — outdoor time is his recharge button. Fun fact: Shuwayne is a twin. Bucket-list trip: a visit back to his home country of Guyana.
