Ryan Deering grew up in Atlanta, Georgia — the city in the forest — and came up the way only a true Atlantan can, with a foot in old-school Southern hospitality and the other in the city's cosmopolitan energy. He went on to the University of Miami, where he initially enrolled in the finance program at the business school before letting his real interests pull him sideways. He graduated with dual majors in Art History and Philosophy, a pivot that he credits with making him a more well-rounded thinker and a more flexible problem solver in every room he has worked in since.

His first big professional swing came in 2019, immediately after undergrad, when he served as Studio Manager for the artist Xavier Cortada. Ryan led the creation and installation of a 2,500-square-foot public art piece — thousands of ceramic tiles installed in a precise sequence — and learned firsthand what it takes to keep a complex, high-stakes project on the rails. As Chief of Staff at Peachtree, he applies that same focus to strategic planning, project management, operational oversight, and stakeholder communication. His superpower, he says, is being able to talk to anyone, which makes keeping leadership aligned look easier than it actually is. He approaches client work like a behind-the-scenes member of their team: candid, pragmatic, and relentlessly focused on saving them time and cognitive load.
