Adrian Collazo
Field Inspector
Born in the heart of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Adrian Collazo was raised there until age five before his family moved to Riverdale, Georgia — where he has lived ever since. The thing he still misses every day is the food. Adrian came up working construction jobs by day and bartending at night and on weekends through his twenties, including several years installing roofs, which eventually pulled him into roof sales for a year. About six years ago, he landed a job as a catastrophic claims technician with Hancock Claims Consultants and finally hung up the bartending gloves after a full 25-year run behind the bar. That was the chapter where the rest of his career came into focus.
At Hancock, Adrian climbed roofs and ran inspections across multiple states, covering CAT damage, earned his HAAG certifications, and ultimately trained most of the local Hancock technicians on what good documentation actually looks like. That inside view — knowing exactly what adjusters look for and how they think — is the edge he brings to Peachtree today as a technician working with insurance adjusters, public adjusters, and independent adjusters on inspections, video repairs, tarp installations, and shingle pulls. The mentor's advice that has stayed with him is simple: a strong work ethic, paired with real passion for the craft, is what opens every door he has ever walked through. He approaches every client's property the way he would treat his own, and the diligence shows.
Home is his wife and their fur baby, Nutella, with his 20-year-old daughter off at college. Adrian works out, rock climbs, wakeboards, and paints modern contemporary abstract art in his free time. The fun fact he tends to lead with: he is a three-time Atlanta bartending competition champion — a reminder that 25 years behind the bar was not exactly wasted time. Five-year list: Bangkok, Thailand, where his mother-in-law lives.
